Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
MILWAUKEE, June 5 (UPI) -- Baseball legend Bob Uecker says an Illinois woman has been stalking him.
The former Milwaukee Brewers announcer obtained a restraining order against Ann Ladd, 45, of Prospect Heights, Ill., last week, TheSmokingGun Web site reports.
Uecker, 72, alleges Ladd began accosting him for autographs six years ago and even stayed in the same hotels he did for away games. Uecker cited an incident in Pittsburgh last month in which she approached him at a hotel swimming pool.
The court order directs Ladd to stay at least 500 feet from Uecker and to stop contacting him.
