NEW YORK, June 5 (UPI) -- St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols continued Monday to lead the National League in All-Star voting.
Pujols got more than 400,000 votes for the week, increasing his total to 1,041,466. He is the only NL player with at least a million votes, but may not be able to play in the game due to a strained right oblique muscle.
The next closest player in the voting is Atlanta's Andruw Jones, who leads all outfielders with 582,749 votes. New York's Carlos Delgado is the second- best vote-getter at first base with 304,287.
Philadelphia second baseman Chase Utley trailed Houston second baseman Craig Biggio after last week by over 17,000 votes. He now leads the second-place Biggio by over 27,000 votes.
Following Jones in the outfield is New York's Carlos Beltran with 499,693 votes and Cincinnati's Ken Griffey Jr. with 479,963 votes.
