MLB: Florida 4, Colorado 3

DENVER, June 5 (UPI) -- Clint Barmes hit an RBI single in the seventh inning Sunday as Colorado edged the Florida Marlins, 4-3, to finish three-game sweep.

Mike Jacobs and Hanley Ramirez hit home runs; Miguel Cabrera had one run and three hits to extend his hitting streak to 11 games; and Josh Willingham had one run and two hits for the Marlins (20-34).

In all, Florida has won nine of its last 12 games after its second sweep of the season.

Winner Scott Olsen improved to 4-3 after allowing three runs and six hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Joe Borowski registered his seventh save.

Matt Holliday hit a two-run homer; and Ryan Spilborghs had two hits for the Rockies (27-29), who committed three errors in their fifth straight loss.

Losing pitcher Jason Jennings (3-6) yielded four runs and 10 hits in seven innings.
