Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
NEW YORK, June 2 (UPI) -- The game between the San Francisco Giants and Mets set for Friday night in New York has been postponed because of rain.
It will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday.
The scheduled starters are the Mets' Tom Glavine and San Francisco's Matt Cain in the opener, with the Giants' Jamey Wright opposing Orlando Hernandez of the Mets in the night-cap.
