MLB: Atlanta 9, L.A. Dodgers 3

ATLANTA, May 31 (UPI) -- On a productive night Wednesday, Andruw Jones had three runs, three hits and three RBI as Atlanta beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 9-3.

Chipper Jones had three runs, two hits and drove in two runs; Jeff Francoeur had one run, two hits, and one RBI; and Todd Pratt hit two sacrifice flies for the Braves (28-25), won five of their last seven games.

In seven innings, winner Tim Hudson (5-3) allowed two runs and six hits with one walk and seven strikeouts.

Nomar Garciaparra homered; while Andre Ethier and Sandy Alomar Jr. also had one RBI for the Dodgers (30-23), who failed in their quest to sweep the Braves in a three-game series in Atlanta for the first time since June of 1984.

Loser Brett Tomko (5-3) surrendered six hits and seven runs in only three innings.
