EDMOND, Okla., May 26 (UPI) -- Peter Jacobsen is the leader after two rounds of the Senior PGA Championship in Edmond, Okla.
In Friday's second round, Jacobsen shot 3-under 68 to sit at 7-under 135 through 36 holes.
He is 1-shot better than first round leader Gil Morgan, who shot 1-under 70 on Friday.
Morgan is tied for second place with Brad Bryant (67) at 6-under 136.
Jay Haas, a two-time winner in 2006, is alone in fourth place at 4-under 138 in the Champions Tour's first major championship of the year.
Jacobsen has only two wins overall on the tour. Both were majors -- the 2004 U.S. Senior Open and last year's Senior Players Championship.
"Some days it hurts when I swing and I'm compensating. Others it doesn't," said Jacobsen, who had hip surgery and knee surgery in recent years. "Over the last five holes, I (always) get a little bit fatigued."
