NBA: Dallas 119, San Antonio 111 (OT)

SAN ANTONIO, May 22 (UPI) -- The Dallas Mavericks knocked the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs out of the playoffs Monday with a 119-111 overtime victory.

Jerry Stackhouse hit two clutch jumpers in overtime to lead Dallas to the Western Conference finals in the deciding Game Seven of their semifinals series.

The Mavericks will meet the winner of the later Monday night game between Phoenix and the Los Angeles Clippers in Game One of the conference finals on Wednesday.

Dirk Nowitzki had 37 points and 15 rebounds and Jason Terry 27 points for the Mavericks, who advanced to the conference finals for the third time in franchise history.

Terry missed the Game Six defeat while serving a one-game suspension for punching Spurs forward Michael Finley in the closing seconds of Game Five.

Tim Duncan scored 41 points and had all 15 of his rebounds after halftime for San Antonio.

Tony Parker added 24 points and Manu Ginobili contributed 23 for the Spurs.
