MLB: Washington 8, Baltimore 3

WASHINGTON, May 20 (UPI) -- Alfonso Soriano had a two-run home run and three RBI Saturday as the Washington Nationals beat the Baltimore Orioles, 8-3.

Jose Vidro had three hits with an RBI and Ryan Zimmerman scored two runs for the Nationals, who won for the second time in their last three games.

Starting pitcher Tony Armas gave up three runs on seven hits and five walks through five innings. Jon Rauch (1-1) threw a scoreless sixth inning for his first win of the season.

Jay Gibbons had two hits with an RBI and Miguel Tejeda scored twice for the Orioles. Corey Patterson went 3-for-4 and stole two bases.

Rodrigo Lopez (1-7) lost his sixth-consecutive start for Baltimore, giving up six runs on eight hits through 5 1/3 innings.
