Colsaerts leads, Irish Open suspended

MAYNOOTH, Ireland, May 19 (UPI) -- Nicolas Colsaerts of Belgium shot a 5-under 67 Friday to lead during the second round of the Irish Open at Maynooth, Ireland.

Colsaerts finished the day at 4-under 140, one stroke ahead of Christian Cevaer (71), Ian Poulter (70) and Anthony Wall (68) -- who are tied for second at 3-under 141.

The first round -- suspended by darkness Thursday following a six-hour wind delay -- was completed Friday morning. A little more than half the field finished the second round, but the rest will be back on the course Saturday morning to complete the round.

The third round will begin shortly after the 36-hole cut is made on Saturday.
