Ramirez extended his hitting streak to 10 games.

In six innings, winning pitcher Scott Olsen (2-2) gave up three runs and six hits with two walks and nine strikeouts.

Florida has placed right-hander Sergio Mitre on the 15-day disabled list because of right shoulder inflammation. He was able to throw three pitches in Friday's start.

Jose Bautista hit his first career home run; while both Jose Castillo and Jason Bay had one hit and one run for the Pirates (10-26), who have lost twice in their last three games.

Loser Zack Duke fell to 2-4.
