MLS: Columbus Crew 1, Real Salt Lake 0

SALT LAKE CITY, May 7 (UPI) -- Real Salt Lake has extended its losing streak to 18 after a 1-0 downing by the Columbus Crew Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Rookie Jason Garey took the pass from Ezra Hendrickson in the 70th minute and shot it past Real goalie Scott Garlick.

The Crew is tied for third place in Eastern Standings with the New England Revolution and faces the Colorado Rapids at home in Week 7.

Salt Lake is at the bottom of the Western Division and now head to Los Angeles to face the Galaxy.
