MIAMI, May 7 (UPI) -- Albert Pujols and So Taguchi each had two RBI Sunday as St. Louis completed a three-game sweep with a 9-1 rout of the Florida Marlins.

Taguchi had one run and two hits; Juan Encarnacion had one run, two hits and knocked in one run as did Scott Spiezio; and starter Sydney Ponson had a hit and an RBI for the Cardinals (20-12), who have followed a four-game slide with three straight victories.

Ponson was lifted after the third inning because of elbow discomfort. The winner was Josh Hancock (1-0).

Hanley Ramirez scored the lone run and Dan Uggla had two of the six hits for the Marlins (8-21), who have dropped 11 of their last 14 games and 10 straight at home.

Losing pitcher Scott Olsen (1-2) was tagged for seven runs and six hits in 3 2/3 innings.

The last time St. Louis swept Florida was May 2000.
