ESTORIL, Portugal, May 6 (UPI) -- Na Li and Jie Zheng will meet Sunday in an all-Chinese final at the clay-court Estoril Open tennis tournament in Estoril, Portugal.
In Saturday's semifinals, Jie, who is the sixth seed, beat No. 1 seed Flavia Pennetta of Italy, 6-2, 6-3. The eighth-seeded Na was a 7-5, 6-2, winner over No. 7 Emilie Loit of France.
"It will be exciting to play in the first final between Chinese," said Jie. "I have the higher ranking but Li Na is more powerful on the court. We train together every day, so we know each other's games well."
Na lost to Lucie Safarova in last year's final.
Both players have one career title and Sunday's winner will claim $22,900.
