Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

WARSAW, Poland, May 6 (UPI) -- Kim Clijsters and Svetlana Kuznetsova Saturday advanced to the title match at the J&S Cup tennis tournament in Warsaw, Poland.
In the semifinals, the Belgian-born former world No. 1 Clijsters, flashing signs of her past brilliance, topped No. 3 Elena Dementieva of Russia, 7-5, 6-4. Clijsters rallied from down 0-3 in the first set.
In Sunday's final, she will face Svetlana Kuznetsova, also from Russia, who trounced fellow Russian Anna Chakvetadze, 6-1, 6-1.
"I don't know how many times I've played her, but we've always had very tough matches," Clijsters said about Sunday's final. "They're fun matches to play, and there are a lot of very tough rallies."
The winner will get $95,500.
