NEW YORK, May 1 (UPI) -- Denver Nuggets forward Reggie Evans was fined $10,000 by the NBA on Monday for an incident involving Los Angeles Clippers center Chris Kaman.
The infraction took place with 8:45 remaining in the second quarter of Denver's 100-86 loss Saturday night in Game Four of their Western Conference quarterfinal series.
Kaman accused Evans of reaching between his legs while going for a rebound and also accused the Denver player of grabbing his testicles. Replays appeared to show that Evans reached his hand under Kaman's shorts during the play.
Kaman told the Los Angeles Times he considered punching Evans, but he didn't want to get thrown out of the game.
Evans was whistled for a technical on the play. Kaman was originally assessed with a flagrant foul, but has since been downgraded to a technical foul.
