NBA: Memphis 101, LA Clippers 95

MEMPHIS, April 18 (UPI) -- Jake Tsakalidis had 18 points and nine rebounds Tuesday as Memphis took the fifth spot in the Western Conference with a 101-95 win over the LA Clippers.

Lorenzen Wright added 17 points for the Grizzlies, who will face the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs. Bobby Jackson scored 15 points, while Shane Battier added 12.

James Singleton led all-scorers with 23 points for the Clippers, who finished as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

The Clippers will still have home-court advantage against Denver in the first round. Elton Brand added 17 points and eight rebounds.

Sam Cassell and Chris Kaman did not play for LA.
