NBA: Golden State 93, Portland 79

OAKLAND, Calif., April 18 (UPI) -- Mike Dunleavy scored 20 points in leading the Golden State Warriors to a 93-79 victory over the Portland Trailblazers.

The victory Monday was the fourth straight for the Warriors, who had lost their nine previous games. Portland, at 21-60 after losing for the seventh consecutive game, has the worst record in the NBA.

Golden State blew the game open on a 23-5 run in the third quarter capped by a Dunleavy lay-up with 3:13 remaining to lead 72-47. The Warriors led 75-55 heading into the final quarter and Portland never threatened.

Dunleavy's 20 points came on 7-of-14 shooting while Ike Diogu came off Golden State's bench to score 16 points.

Travis Outlaw paced Portland, scoring 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting.
