NHL: N.Y. Islanders 5, Pittsbugh 4 (SO)

UNIONDALE, N.Y., April 15 (UPI) -- Jason Blake scored a pair of goals and Robert Nilsson had the deciding shootout goal Saturday as the New York Islanders beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, 5-4.

Jeremy Colliton got his first career NHL goal and Rick DiPietro made 20 saves for the Islanders, who have won three of their last four games.

John LeClair had two goals and an assist and Sebastien Caron turned away 28 shots for Pittsburgh, which has lost five of its last seven games.

Neither team will be in the playoffs this season.
