NHL: Buffalo 4, Montreal 2

MONTREAL, April 15 (UPI) -- Chris Drury and J.P. Dumont scored third-period goals Saturday as the Buffalo Sabres posted a 4-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

Ryan Miller made 43 saves for the Sabres, who have won three straight and have locked up the fourth playoff seed in the NHL Eastern Conference.

Michael Ryder and Mike Komisarek scored goals for Montreal, which needed just one point to clinch a playoff spot. Montreal still holds the seventh spot in the East.

Montreal goalie David Aebischer allowed three goals on 29 shots in the loss.
