Furyk, Baddeley lead after Heritage third

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C., April 15 (UPI) -- Jim Furyk and Aaron Baddeley have built a three-stroke co-lead through Saturday's third round of the Heritage Golf Classic at Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Furyk, who held the second-round lead alone, shot a 3-under 68 and Baddeley carded a 5-under 66 to tie at 14-under-par 199 through 54 holes.

Billy Mayfair, who posted a 3-under 68, was alone in third place at 11-under 202. Ernie Els had a 6-under 65 on Saturday and is tied for fourth place with Jerry Kelly (66) at 10-under 203.

Furyk has 10 wins on the PGA Tour and has owned the 54-hole lead the same number of times. Baddeley, winless on tour, has not won either of the two times he shared the third-round lead.

Jose Coceres, the 2001 champion, shot a 68 Saturday and is tied for sixth place with Lucas Glover (66) and Chris Riley (68) at 9-under 204.
