
ATLANTA, April 14 (UPI) -- Raymond Felton scored 27 points Friday night to guide Charlotte over the Atlanta Hawks, 116-110.
The rookie from North Carolina also had eight assists, four rebounds and three steals.
Melvin Ely had 21 points, five rebounds and three assists; Matt Carroll added 17 points and two rebounds; Alan Anderson had 15 points, two assists and six rebounds; and Primoz Brezec had 14 points and four rebounds for the Bobcats (23-56), who have won two of their last three games.
Joe Johnson had 35 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and two blocked shots; Marvin Williams had 22 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals; reserve Tyronn Lue had 19 points and two assists; and Josh Smith had 17 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks for the Hawks (23-56). Atlanta has lost its last four games.
Neither team will make the playoffs.
