
MIAMI, April 11 (UPI) -- Khalil Greene had two home runs and four RBI Tuesday as the San Diego Padres spoiled Florida's home opener with a 9-3 victory over the Marlins.
Rob Bowen drove in two runs while Josh Barfield added three hits and scored two runs for the Padres, who snapped a four-game losing streak with their first win since an opening day victory against San Francisco.
Woody Williams (1-0) pitched five innings and allowed three runs on five hits in his first start of the season. Williams was plugged into the starting rotation in place of Shawn Estes after he was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left elbow.
Josh Willingham drove in two runs for the Marlins, who have opened up the season by losing five of six. Miguel Cabrera added an RBI while Hanley Ramirez had two hits and scored two runs.
