April 10, 2006 at 2:19 AM

NEW YORK, April 10 (UPI) -- David Wright drove in the winning run in the ninth inning with a sacrifice fly as the New York Mets edged the Florida Marlins, 3-2.

Wright also hit a two-run triple to account for all of the Mets' three runs.

New York (4-1) has a three-game winning streak and Wright has driven in a run in all five games. Carlos Delgado had two hits in the win; and in relief, the winning pitcher was closer Billy Wagner (1-0) in relief of starter Tom Glavine. Wagner threw a scoreless ninth.

Josh Willingham drove in both runs for the Marlins (1-4). Loser Carlos Martinez fell to 0-1 in relief of starter Dontrelle Willis, who gave up two runs and seven hits with no walks and four strikeouts. Florida has dropped its last four games.
