Cardinals dedicate new Busch Stadium

ST. LOUIS, April 10 (UPI) -- Busch Stadium was officially unveiled Monday as the the St. Louis Cardinals opened their home season in an afternoon game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Missouri Gov. Matt Blount and St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay were on hand for the stadium dedication. The Cardinals also rededicated the legendary Stan Musial statue, which was moved from old Busch Stadium, the Belleville News-Democrat reported.

The Budweiser Clydesdales preceded the Cardinals traditional motorcade on the field before the game.
