MIAMI, April 9 (UPI) -- Jameer Nelson had 26 points, two rebounds and two steals Sunday as Orlando topped the Miami Heat, 93-84.
Dwight Howard had 16 points, eight rebounds and two steals; Hedo Turkoglu had 14 points and three rebounds; and DeShawn Stevenson added 11 points, two rebounds and three assists for the Magic (32-44). Orlando, which has won eight of its last nine games, maintained slim playoff hopes but remained three games behind Chicago and Philadelphia for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Dwyane Wade had 27 points, two rebounds, seven assists and four steals; Shaquille O'Neal had 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots; and Udonis Haslem added 10 points and three rebounds for the Heat (50-27).
Miami has lost four of last six games, but remains 2 1/2 games ahead of New Jersey for the second spot in the East.
