DENVER, April 9 (UPI) -- Jovan Kirovski, Kyle Beckman and Fabrice Noel all scored goals Saturday night to lead Colorado over the Columbus Crew, 3-1.

Terry Cooke had assists on all three goals and Joe Cannon made six saves for the Rapids (1-1), who lost to Houston in their season opener last Saturday.

Chad Marshall scored the Crew's goal in the 10th minute and Jon Busch stopped five shots for Columbus, which is 0-2 after a 3-1 loss to the Kansas City Wizards last Saturday.
