DENVER, April 9 (UPI) -- Jovan Kirovski, Kyle Beckman and Fabrice Noel all scored goals Saturday night to lead Colorado over the Columbus Crew, 3-1.

Terry Cooke had assists on all three goals and Joe Cannon made six saves for the Rapids (1-1), who lost to Houston in their season opener last Saturday.

Chad Marshall scored the Crew's goal in the 10th minute and Jon Busch stopped five shots for Columbus, which is 0-2 after a 3-1 loss to the Kansas City Wizards last Saturday.

The match marked the only meeting in Denver between the two teams. The Rapids will make the trip to Columbus on May 13. Next Saturday, Columbus hosts Chicago and Colorado is at home to FC Dallas.
