
CLEVELAND, April 8 (UPI) -- Travis Hafner went 3-for-3 with a home run and a double Saturday as Cleveland beat the Minnesota Twins, 3-0, for its fourth straight victory.
Casey Blake was 3-for-4 with an RBI. Hafner has reached base safely in his last 10 plate appearances for the Indians (4-1).
In his Cleveland debut, winner Jason Johnson (1-0) surrendered only four hits in eight innings, with one walk and two strikeouts. The veteran right-hander came to the Indians after going 8-13 with a 4.54 ERA for the Detroit Tigers last season.
Bob Wickman pitched a perfect ninth with a strikeout to get his second save of the season. Wickman is three shy of Doug Jones' club record of 129 saves.
Loser Scott Baker (0-1) gave up three runs and nine hits in 4 1/3 innings with one walk and four strikeouts.
