MLB: Milwaukee 3, Pittsburgh 2

MILWAUKEE, April 6 (UPI) -- A run-scoring single by Prince Fielder Wednesday night gave Milwaukee a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, completing a three-game sweep.

J.J. Hardy and Geoff Jenkins also drove in runs for the Brewers (3-0). Winning pitcher Matt Wise (1-0) hurled a scoreless eighth; and Derrick Turnbow earned his third save of the season. Jason Bay went 1-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored; Sean Casey; Joe Randa and Jeromy Burnitz all had two hits each; and losing pitcher Damaso Marte (0-1) yielded Fielder's game-winning hit for the Pirates. Turnbow has a save in each of Milwaukee's three wins this year.
