
CHICAGO, April 5 (UPI) -- Jason Michaels hit an RBI double in the top of the 11th inning Wednesday to give Cleveland a 4-3 win over the Chicago White Sox.
Michaels had four hits and also scored a run. His four hits tied a career high.
Travis Hafner homered as the Indians went 2-1 in the season-opening series at Chicago's Comiskey Park. Winning pitcher Danny Graves (1-0) hurled a scoreless 10th inning.
Tadahito Iguchi had three hits and scored a run; Rob Mackowiak drove in two runs; while losing pitcher Neal Cotts (0-1) surrendered a run on three hits in two innings.
In six innings; White Sox starter Jose Contreras gave up two runs and six hits, struck out three and walked two.
The reigning World Series champion White Sox lost just their second home series in April under Manager Ozzie Guillen.
