Detroit's Datsyuk out for 7-10 days

DETROIT, April 4 (UPI) -- Pavel Datsyuk is expected to be out of the Detroit Red Wings' lineup for 7-10 days after suffering a lower body injury.

Datsyuk, the Red Wings' leading scorer with 87 points, suffered the injury in Monday's 2-1 shootout victory over Calgary.

Detroit, which leads the NHL with 112 points, clinched its fifth-straight Central Division title and has won a club record nine consecutive road games. The Wings also tied an NHL record for most road wins in a season with 28.

Datsyuk has scored 81 goals and tallied 160 assists for 241 points in 284 games played in his NHL career. He also has played in 37 career playoff games, with three goals and nine assists.
