DENVER, March 29 (UPI) -- Andrew Brunette scored two third-period goals in lifting the Colorado Avalanche to a 4-3 victory over Anaheim, breaking the Mighty Duck's 6-game winning streak.

Brunette's 20th and 21st goals of the season came within a 6-minute span Tuesday and each gave the Avalanche a one-goal lead. The second one, with 6:03 to play, proved to be the game-winner.

Brett Clark and Brett McLean also scored for Colorado, which moved 2 points ahead of Calgary of the NHL's Northwest Division lead.

Ryan Getzlaf, Teemu Selanne and Sean O'Donnell were credited with the Anaheim goals.

O'Donnell opened the game's scoring before McLean and Clark put Colorado ahead 2-1. Selanne tied the score with his 34th goal of the year but 3 1/2 minutes later Brunette answered with his first goal.

Getzlaf tied the score only to have Brunette break the tie again.
