NHL: Pittsburgh 4, N.Y. Islanders 3 (OT)

PITTSBURGH, March 24 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby capped a Pittsburgh comeback with a goal 1:32 into overtime Friday night, giving the Penguins a 4-3 win over the New York Islanders.

Pittsburgh overcame a two-goal deficit to down the Islanders for the first time in four meetings.

New York lost for the fourth time in five games despite goals by Trent Hunter, Jason Blake and Sean Bergenheim.

The Islanders had a 3-1 lead early in the second period.

Crosby's winning goal came on a two-on-one break as he put a wrist shot just under the glove of Islander's goalie Rick DiPietro.
