NHL: Philadelphia 6, NY Rangers 3

NEW YORK, March 22 (UPI) -- Two goals from Mike Knuble Wednesday night boosted Philadelphia to a 6-3 victory over the New York Rangers.

The Flyers moved into a share of first place with the Rangers in the NHL's Atlantic Division.

Simon Gagne had a goal and an assist to help Philadelphia win for the fourth time in five games. The Flyers overcame a hat trick by the Rangers' Jaromir Jagr.

New York had won its three previous games after losing six in a row. Philadelphia won in Madison Square Garden for the third time in three tries this season.
