NBA: Sacramento 105, Seattle 96

SACRAMENTO, March 22 (UPI) -- Ron Artest scored a season-high 34 points in pacing the Sacramento Kings to a 105-96 victory Tuesday over the Seattle SuperSonics.

Artest also had added eight rebounds and six assists. Mike Bibby logged 30 points and had eight assists for the Kings, who are in a virtual tie with the Los Angeles Lakers for the seventh Western Conference playoff spot. Kenny Thomas posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds while Bonzi Wells chipped in 10 points off the bench for Sacramento.

Ray Allen paced Seattle with 23 points and seven rebounds as the SuperSonics. Chris Wilcox had 16 points and 19 boards while Rashard Lewis added 15 points in the loss. Luke Ridnour had only 6 points, but was credited with 10 assists for the SuperSonics.
