NBA: Minnesota 100, Miami 96

MINNEAPOLIS, March 21 (UPI) -- Ricky Davis had 26 points and 10 assists Tuesday as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Miami Heat, 100-96.

Kevin Garnett added 23 points and 11 rebounds for Minnesota, which won its second straight game. Marcus Banks, Mark Blount and Marko Jaric each had 12 points in the victory.

Dwayne Wade had 35 points and eight assists for the Heat, who saw a five-game winning streak come to a halt. Alonzo Mourning had 21 points and 12 rebounds.
