
DALLAS, March 17 (UPI) -- Charles Lee scored a game-high 24 points Friday as Bucknell upset Arkansas, 59-55, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Dallas.
The contest was part of the Oakland Bracket.
Lee -- who was Player of the Year in the Patriot League -- went 4-for-7 on three-pointers. Kevin Bettencourt, who made five three-pointers, added 18 points and two assists; and Chris McNaughton had six points, four rebounds and two steals for the 9th-seeded Bison, who were out-rebounded, 30-25, but improved to 27-4.
Jonathon Modica had 19 points and three rebounds; Ronnie Brewer had 14 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals; Steven Hill had six points, four rebounds and four blocked shots; and Eric Ferguson scored six points for the 8th-seeded Razorbacks, whose season ended at 22-10.
