NBA: Washington 119, Charlotte 114

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 14 (UPI) -- Antawn Jamison and Gilbert Arenas scored 35 and 34 points respectively Tuesday to lead the Washington Wizards to a 119-114 win over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Jamison also grabbed 16 rebounds and Arenas dished seven assists. Caron Butler added 25 points and eight rebounds for the Wizards.

Charlotte had seven players in double figures led by Jumaine Jones' 18 points. Raymond Felton added 17 points and Gerald Wallace 15.

Brevin Knight had 13 points and eight assists in the Bobcats' second straight defeat. Matt Carroll scored 11 points and Melvin Ely and Primoz Brezec 10 each.

Charlotte was dealt a major blow Tuesday when it was revealed Emeka Okafor will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
