NBA: Detroit 94, Charlotte 78

DETROIT, March 13 (UPI) -- Detroit's Richard Hamilton poured in 24 points Sunday as the Pistons breezed by the visiting Charlotte Bobcats, 94-78.

Tayshaun Prince posted 23 points and six assists and Tony Delk went 3-for-3 on 3-point shots and had 11 points for the Pistons, who won their 14th straight home contest. Antonio McDyess finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds and Rasheed Wallace scored 10 points for Detroit.

Raymond Felton paced the Bobcats with 18 points and Melvin Ely added 15 points and six rebounds in the loss. Jumaine Jones chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The Bobcats shot 37.8 percent from the floor, including 5-of-18 from 3-point range distance. The Pistons connected on 48.8 percent of their shots.
