Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga., March 13 (UPI) -- The Atlanta Falcons Monday re-signed wide receiver Brian Finneran to a four-year contract.
Finneran was the Falcons second-leading receiver last season with 50 receptions, 611 yards and two touchdowns.
"It was a priority for us to retain Brian Finneran and we're happy that we have gotten this deal accomplished," said Falcons President and General Manager Rich McKay. "Brian is an integral part of our passing game and compliments our running game with a physical presence, in addition to contributing on special teams."
Finneran, a seven-year veteran out of Villanova, has caught 187 career passes for 2,647 yards with 15 touchdowns in 86 games.
