NHL: Tampa Bay 5, Pittsburgh 4 (SO)

PITTSBURGH, March 7 (UPI) -- Vinny Prospal and Brad Richards scored in the shootout Tuesday as the Tampa Bay Lightning posted a 5-4 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Dan Boyle scored two goals and added an assist and Dimitry Afanasenkov and Fredrik Modin each added a goal for Tampa Bay, which ended a three-game skid. John Grahame made 23 saves.

Sidney Crosby had a goal and an assist and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 30 shots for the Penguins, who have lost three straight. Ryan Malone, Josef Melichar and Ryan Whitney each added a goal for Pittsburgh.
