
HOUSTON, March 6 (UPI) -- Yao Ming had 32 points, 13 rebounds and two assists Sunday as the Houston Rockets pasted Portland, 102-84.
Tracy McGrady added 18 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals before leaving in third quarter with a back problem; David Wesley added 12 points, three rebounds and six assists; and Juwan Howard had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Houston (27-33), which beat Portland for the ninth straight time, has won two in a row and 12 of its last 16 games.
In his best game of the season, Steve Blake had 23 points, four rebounds and three assists; Zach Randolph had 15 points and eight rebounds; and Sebastian Telfair had nine points, two rebounds and two assists for the hapless Blazers (19-40), who have lost 12 of their last 14 games.
Houston out-rebounded Portland, 47-37.
