
SPOKANE, Wash., March 6 (UPI) -- Adam Morrison had 24 points, five rebounds and three assists Sunday night as 5th-ranked Gonzaga needed overtime to beat San Diego, 96-92.
With the win in the West Coast Conference Tournament semifinals, the Bulldogs will play in Monday night's title game after their 38th straight home-court victory.
Derek Raivio had 21 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals; J.P. Batista had 21 points, 13 rebounds and two assists; and Morrison also had two steals for Gonzaga (26-3), which will face Loyola Marymount in the championship tilt.
Nick Lewis had 26 points, three rebounds and two steals; Brandon Johnson had 19 points, five rebounds and five assists; and Ross DeRogatis added 17 points, four rebounds and two assists for the Toreros (18-12), who won their lone WCC tournament championship in 2003.
Gonzaga out-rebounded San Diego, 36-27.
