NHL: Los Angeles 3, Minnesota 2

LOS ANGELES, March 3 (UPI) -- Lubomir Visnovsky scored with 2:36 remaining to lift Los Angeles to a 3-2 victory over Minnesota Thursday night.

Luc Robitaille scored on his 40th birthday and Mike Cammalleri also tallied for the Kings, who have won three straight games. Mathieu Garon made 29 saves in the victory.

Marian Gaborik scored both goals for Minnesota, which is now 4-3-1 in its last eight games overall. Manny Fernandez allowed three goals on 38 shots in the loss.

After Minnesota tied it up with just under five minutes to play in the third period, Visnovsky's 15th goal of the season put the Kings on top for good.
