NHL: St. Louis 4, Edmonton 2

EDMONTON, Alberta, March 2 (UPI) -- Scott Young scored two goals and logged an assist to lead the visiting St. Louis Blues past the Edmonton Oilers, 4-2, Wednesday night.

Keith Tkachuk and Jay McClement added a goal and an assist each and Curtis Sanford made 35 saves for St. Louis.

For Edmonton, Chris Pronger and Marc-Andre Bergeron notched a goal apiece. Jussi Markkanen stopped seven of 10 shots before being replaced by Mike Morrison, who made one save, in the third period.

Despite the outcome, Edmonton outshot St. Louis 37-12.
