SCOTSDALE, Ariz., March 1 (UPI) -- Giants slugger Barry Bonds, wearing a halter top and falsies, did his Paula Abdul imitation all in the name of team spirit at San Francisco's training camp.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports teammates hooted when Bonds strutted his stuff Tuesday, the first day of "Giants Idol."

Pitching prospect Brian Wilson channeled Billy Idol, Jeff Fassero took on Simon Cowell's persona and Omar Vizquel and Rob Schneider played Ryan Seacrest.

"I'll never tell my wife to hurry up anymore," Bonds told reporters, "because it took me forever to get dressed."
