TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Ronald Steele had 19 points, four rebounds and seven assists Sunday to help Alabama knock off 9th-ranked Florida, 82-77.
Jermareo Davidson added 16 points, three assists and 10 rebounds; Jean Felix had 14 points, three rebounds and blocked a shot; Richard Hendrix had 11 points and 17 rebounds; and Alonzo Gee had 11 points and two rebounds for the Crimson Tide (16-10, 9-5 SEC), who have won five of their last seven games.
Taurean Green had 20 points, five assists and three rebounds; Joakim Noah added 12 points, four rebounds and four blocked shots; Lee Humphrey scored 15 points; Al Horford totaled 12 points, nine rebounds, two assists, a steal and a blocked shot; and Corey Brewer had 11 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Gators (22-6, 8-6 SEC), who have lost three in a row and are just 5-6 since starting the season 17-0.
