Three-way tie at senior Outback Pro-Am

LUTZ, Fla., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Mark James shot a 6-under 65 Saturday to climb into a share of the lead after two rounds of the seniors Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am.

James moved to 7-under 135 for a 36-hole tie with defending champion Hale Irwin (66) and Mark McNulty (70).

Jerry Pate is one stroke behind the leaders at 136 after his second straight round of 68. Bruce Fleisher (67) moved into a tie for fifth at 137 with Larry Nelson, who posted a 69 Saturday.

Loren Roberts, who has won the first three events of the Champions Tour season, shot 69 for the second straight day and is tied at 138 with Scott Simpson (68), Des Smyth (70), Bobby Wadkins (70) and Gary McCord (71).
