Love, Ogilvy to play for Match Play title

CARLSBAD, Calif., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- American Davis Love III and Australian Geoff Ogilvy will meet Sunday in the finals of the World Golf Championships Accenture Match Play Championship.

Love beat Zach Johnson, 4 & 2, and Ogilvy bested U.S. Ryder Cup captain Tom Lehman, 4 & 3, in Saturday's semifinals.

Love reached the semifinals with a 1-up quarterfinal win over Irishman Padraig Harrington by holing out for eagle on the last hole.

Johnson moved into the semis as he defeated the last remaining No. 1 seed, Retief Goosen, by a 3 & 2 margin.

Ogilvy out-dueled Englishman David Howell 1-up in 19 holes to move into the semifinal round. Lehman outlasted fellow American Chad Campbell 1-up in 21 holes.

Love and Ogilvy will play a 36-hole final match, while Johnson and Lehman will meet in an 18-hole consolation match.
