RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Sophomore forward Sean Williams blocked a school-record eight shots Saturday as 13th-ranked Boston College edged No. 14 N.C. State, 74-72, in two overtimes.

Williams also had seven points and seven rebounds.

Sean Marshall, who scored the lone field goal of the second extra session, had 22 points, four assists, eight rebounds and a steal; Craig Smith added 18 points, six assists and 14 rebounds; and Jared Dudley had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Eagles (22-6, 9-5 ACC), who bounced back after a surprising 72-58 loss at Virginia on Tuesday. BC Coach Al Skinner passed Jim O'Brien for the most wins in school history with 169.

Ilian Evtimov had 16 points, five rebounds and three assists; Cameron Bennerman added 14 points, three rebounds and three steals; and Cedric Simmons had 12 points, six rebounds and three assists for the Wolfpack (21-7, 10-5 ACC), who suffered their second straight loss.
