COL BKB: Georgetown 66, Rutgers 50

WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Roy Hibbert had 25 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots Wednesday night to help No. 23 Georgetown blast Rutgers, 66-50.

Darrel Owens added 11 points, four rebounds and five assists; Jonathan Wallace had 10 points, six rebounds and six assists; and Jeff Green had nine points, six rebounds and five assists for the Hoyas (18-7, 9-5 Big East), who broke a three-game conference losing streak.

Quincy Douby had 29 points, three rebounds, three steals and three assists and was the only player to score more than six points for the Scarlet Knights (15-12, 5-8 Big East), who have lost three in a row.

The Hoyas mauled Rutgers on the boards, 34-19.
